Unit 6

I discovered a few things about myself when meditating.  I focused so much on the inner body.  I was well grounded and still- minded.  My wife was not around so I used a mirror to look into myself and notice that her and my son was the only thing I saw.  How much they affect my soul and mind.  I love them too much.  This exercise kept me from falling asleep so I appreciate that, Lol.  I like the subtle exercise and meditation.  I can use them both to focus on my body and mind when I need peace.  I will use them both at work more often.

Unit 5

Hi Everyone

The Loving Kindness and Subtle Mind exercise both have a great quality I like.  The loving-kindness exercise I was really focused on my family and friends how I feel about their health and everything.  It made realize how much I appreciate them and how can I ever help (in the future) them with their health.  The subtle mind exercise really help me after I left work.  I was a little worked up and when I started the exercise I was calm and relax.  A little too relax!  It took my mind off the negative and focused more within myself.  I was breathing and focusing on my chest going up and down in my mind.  It was cool because I was imagining the blood flow and arteries.  Real cool!!

The connection I have with my spiritual wellness and mental and physical wellness is that I appreciate all three wellness.  I thank God for my health, mentality, and being faithful all the time.  My health and spirit comes as one.

Unit 4

Hi again

My experience with mental workout is great!  I think it works to influence yourself awareness.  It help you to open your mind and take in the positive things that make you who you are.  In the audio, I focused on my family and how my family make me feel inside and how I could not help think about the family members that past away from an illness.  It make you wonder how deep is our world.  How good we have it.

My Experience Unit 4

Hi All

My experience with the audio...it was different.  It was knowledgeable and retaining but not for everyone.  Just like everyone do not believe in psychology.  Especially expressing your feelings to someone you do not know....but it is for some.  So I would only recommended by offering it as a solution.  I would give them the option.  I would not force it on them.

Crime of the Century

Hi All

The audio was great but I'm not good with listening to people speak.  I was listening with my eyes close and when he begin describing the rainbow and the seven colors and focusing on my breathing I began to fall asleep.  It does not take much for me to fall asleep.  I relax my body and just focused on my breathing.  It was not frustrating or difficult but a meditation to fall asleep, lol.  It can help someone like a 8 year old who cannot fall asleep at night.  It was okay.

Unit 3

Hi All

On a scale 1 thru 10 I rate my spiritual well-being 8, psychological 8, and physical 9.  My love for God is my priority.  He comes first.  Without him I am nothing.  But I have not been to church in a while that is why I rate my self an 8.  I do not know everything in life, and I am still learning.  But I do understand that my health is important and I know how to manage it psychologically so I rated it an 8.  My physical needs some work but I like where I am in my weight.  I just need to do more lifting and stretching and I would be okay.  For each goal I need to adjust my time management and learn to say no to members in my family.  Time management is my overall concern to meet my goals for each well-being.

Reflection

Hi Everyone,

I listen to the Journey on relaxation and it was quite interesting.  I close my eyes and relax my body and followed instructions, it is a mind over body type of meditation.  I tried doing the exercise but I could not get my blood to run down from one part to another, lol.  How did you guys do?  It is a technique to focus on a part of the body you want healed.

Welcome
