Unit 7

Hi Everyone,

I listen to track 4 on Elliot Dacher's cd. I like it but it takes some practice for me. First thing, I have to close my eyes and visualize. I do better when I do not have to close my eyes to visualize something or someone. But, lets talk about it. I like the fact I had to visualize someone with wisdom and they are close to me. I begin to visualize my Grandmother and then my Aunt popped up, and then I was focused on my Grandmother. But the funny thing is different images of her was popping up. I could not focused on just one image because I started to remember her. I had a problem with the focusing the light or halo over her head and neck. I could not at all visualize her next to me. I can focus more with my eyes open. I like the ocean affect, it reminds me of the four seasons of the year, scenery. It would take some practice to get adjusted to this practice.

"One cannot lead another where one has not gone himself". I like this quote because one person cannot help someone if he has not been in the similar situation. I cannot help someone with the integral health practices if I do not practice them myself. I remember a story about this health instructor teaching her class how to be fit but she was not. She totally over weighed for her height and built. A few classmates were confused about why were they following instructions from an over weight instructor. Crazy!! I am thankful for my health and pray for that. I thank God for health and physical health that I can get up and function everyday to make myself better for my future as a Dietitian. I can definitely influence my spiritual mind with my work. You appreciate what you were giving and you would want to share it with others in your practice. Maybe they can use it to implement it in their own way of practice.
